About The Sweet Spot Treats
Meet the passionate minds behind The Sweet Spot Freeze Dried Treats – Michael and Nissa Harris, proud residents and ardent supporters of the picturesque city of Lake Havasu. Their journey began in this beautiful city decades ago, shaping a life filled with love, dedication, and a deep sense of community.
In 1978, Michael made Lake Havasu his home, and it remained his haven even as he pursued higher education. Meanwhile, in 1993, Nissa, originally from South Dakota, found her way to Lake Havasu, where fate brought her and Michael together merely days after her arrival. Their love story blossomed amidst the scenic beauty of Lake Havasu, becoming an integral part of the city’s vibrant tapestry.
Our History
After a brief stint in Minnesota while Michael pursued his college education in 1995, the couple returned to Lake Havasu in 1998. Michael found his calling as a radiologic technologist (x-ray tech), a profession he embraced and continues to excel in to this very day.
Nissa, a dedicated educator, contributed significantly to the Lake Havasu Unified School District until her retirement in 2022. Post-retirement, she transitioned seamlessly into another business venture, where her expertise and dedication continue to shine.
Throughout their journey, Michael and Nissa raised their family in Lake Havasu, fostering a strong sense of belonging and community spirit. While their children have embarked on their own adventures, Michael and Nissa chose to remain, becoming pillars of support and engagement in the place they proudly call home – Lake Havasu City.
